3.5.10
we have almost mad it to spring!!!! hold on just another week and then it will rain instead of snow! but we are supposed to have beautiful weather this weekend. I am sneaking over here to post because I would much rather be doing this than studying! I have to keep working on Physics, hopefully soon I will be good at it. Luckily for me Hannah is wonderful with Physics and she is sweet enough to teach it to me!
Tabitha and I built a Snowman earlier this week. he's still standing but his arms are coming loose and the pine cones we stuck in him for eyes fell out. I think that the heavy insulation of pine needles that he gathered as we rolled him around the yard are helping to keep him in one piece. I can't think of much other important news. not that that was very important. have a good day.
2.24.10
I had missed playing gigs, but that time is over! last Friday at the Coffee Tree was great! I had so much fun and I am looking forward to Sparky's on Saturday.
one Random fact about Mohr4: none of the sisters really like to drink Coffee. we are more tea people.
2.18.10
Last weekend I was at All-State Orchestra, it was so amazing and great. I wish that I could play in an orchestra like that all the time. but sadly, no. I suppose that I will just have to fiddle more to make up for it. speaking of fiddling, I am really looking forward to our gig tomorrow (!) at the COFFEE TREE!
Well, I need to go study precalc and physics so that Hannah does not get to far ahead of me!
I was so sad this morning when I got up, there was no Snow :-(
1.24.10
We have been working on some new music so you will have to catch one of our up coming performances. Kala's on Jan. 29 and Coffee Tree on Feb 19. Hope to see you there!
1.22.10
I am so sorry that I have not updated in so long! I
have not forgotten about you, even though I have not posted in almost two
months!!! basically my computer will not lode the page to update and so I have
to get onto mom's computer to update and I have not remembered to do it. I
sincerely apologize and I promise to try to do better to post more often. So
because I missed it here it goes!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! happy MLK day
and Happy Popcorn Day (Jan 19).
Well, I guess that this is the home stretch, spring
semester of my senior year. I am excited to be going to college though - UAH in
the fall. I don't know if I can hardly wait or if I am scared out of my wits.
I got to go skiing with my church youth group over
MLK weekend. It was so much fun, I had never been skiing before so I was pretty
awful the first day but luckily we got to ski two days and so on the second day
I did much better. I was really sore the next couple of days. Oh, and I don’t recommend
bus rides unless they are the only way to get to were you want to be. For skiing
it was worth it, but I am glad that I don’t have to ride one everyday. One more
thing that I can check off my list of possible careers. Bus Driving.

I love today's date! happy NEW YEAR!!!
12.24.09
Merry Christmas!!!
11.28.09I love this time of year. the holidays are starting and so are the parties! the crisp, chilly weather. we need to have a fire this evening, and sit around it and drink hot chocolate!
11.26.09
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
11.17.09 I cannot believe that time really goes that fast. Once the holiday season starts there is not looking back, no chance to breath, just keep going, keep running, don't give up yet!
Mom was giving me a hard time saying that it would be nice just to stay home and not do all the activities I am used to doing, but I said that I would not know what to do and that I would go crazy! But sometimes it is really nice just to have the time necessary.
10.31.09
HAPPY HOLLOWEEN!!!
10.30.09
So, today it the day before all hallows eve. does that make it all hollows eve eve??? Really Halloween is a very interesting holiday. an abbreviated history is that the day before all Saints Day/ All Hallows Day (November 1st) is All Hallows Eve. All Saints day is the day in the church where we celebrate all the saint who have gone before us. these saints can be the very famous ones that most people and familiar with or they can be just ordinary people who kept the faith and passed it on to there children. So anyway I was getting around to talking about Halloween, the deal is that (especially in pagan Celtic traditions) people would dress up to scare the bad sprits away, to bring good luck the rest of the year. So this Halloween keep in mind not only the scaring people but also November 1st all Saints Day and what it means to truley keep the faith. There that's all the more philosophical stuff you are going to get from me for a while.
10.22.09
I love Sunshine!!! It is truly amazing how much better I feel when the sun is shining! we are supposed to have more rain this evening, but at least the last couple of days have been clear.
I have been reading about Abigail Adams. She is really amazing. She was able to run her household, educate her children and Support her husband, John Adams, in all his ventures how ever far away they took him, with the letters that they would write to each other.
10.4.09
We played for a beautiful wedding last night, and I have to say that I really like her dress. Maybe I can get Naomi to draw me something like it. I was kinda surprised by how dark it is this morning, it's a sure thing that the sun is becoming a sleepy head :)
I have a new favorite tv show, Northern Exposure. It is set in Alaska and the characters are just great.
9.28.09
Ahh... Sunshine! I had not forgotten nor what a wonderful thing a cool evening breeze was. I had my window open last night and got cold! Luckily I had another blanket close by. Good Morning to everyone, maybe this nice weather will stick around for a bit and we will be able to enjoy it!!!
Now for some school, I've got a bunch to do today.
9.24.09
We have our first Debate Tournament tomorrow. I think that it should be really cool, and I am looking forward to getting to try the Case I have prepared (with the help of my sisters!).
I have been trying to think if we have been doing anything interesting recently but all I can think about is debate research! Not to much else has been going on here but I do wish the weather would dry up so that it would be more fun to go outside.
9.21.09
It has rained soooooo much, our front yard is a lot like a marsh! lol
and that has, regrettably, kept me form doing some yard work.
Mostly we have been staying dry inside and studying/practicing. I have a really awesome concerto that I have been working on and Mom found a Precalculus book for me to study. I have not gotten very far into it yet but so far it seems pretty cool!
I finished a pretty cool book the other day, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. it was just fun and easy to read but I also liked how it stuck to the story line so well. even if the Jane Austin Pride and Prejudice did not have any Zombies in it. I would recommended it if you get a chance.
9.8.09
We have a facebook fan page up and running now... you need to be a 'fan' of Mohr4. I would love it if we had a few more fans!
Everything here has been about the same. I have been studying for the ACT, they say third time is the charm so what have I got to loose???
9.2.09
Concerts in the Park was a great success, thank you all for coming out and enjoying a beautiful evening with us!
I have had a busy couple of days, getting back into the swing of things and remembering how to study... luckily its not as hard to remember as to learn the first time.
8.31.09
TONIGHT!!! y'all better come.....MOHR4 concerts in the park!
in Huntsville, Big Spring Park
I had a wonderful time visiting everybody in Iowa and Minnesota.
We had an awesome concert were we work with Thor church to raise money for Children's Cup International and raised about a thousand dollars for them.
A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped and donated. Such a good night of music would not have been possible without you!
8.17.09 Orchestra rehearsal tonight and then off to Iowa/Minnesota to visit family. I can't wait to see everybody. We always have such a good time together, and there is always lots of good music! I better go pack. It's going to be a good couple of weeks.
8.14.09
Orchestra results were just posted and I am a first violin this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great time playing at Flying Monkey Arts last night, and I look forward to playing there again. We had a great audience and I had a blast!
Well, so much for fun, I have to do school again today, but at least I have some pretty cool stuff to learn this year and I could not ask for a better teacher! I Have not decided on a favorite subject, but I do like Chemistry a lot.
8.11.09
Wow, summer is slowly slipping away. Like most people I have started school again, I can hardly believe that I am a senior this year! I know that I am going to have an exciting and busy year.
A BIG THANK YOU to SPARKY'S COFFEE HOUSE, I had a blast playing there and we are looking forward to doing it again!
7.23.09 Where in the world has July gone??? Probably the same place June went.
Goodness, we have not even been playing that much...
TONIGHT at the main Huntsville/Madison library.
August 8! Sparky’s coffee house! This will be our first time at Sparky's so come on out, we'll make it good. It is a fun, cozy place in Guntersville (by the high school).
Yesterday was the last day of Fiddle Camp, this morning we had breakfast and the said a few good-bye’s which soon turned into 'see you next year!!!'
We had a blast, I learned three times more than I can ever hope to remember! But I am really inspired to practice, and I learned a lot of new ways and things to practice.
Well I may not be making a lot of sense but I had a wonderful time.
I also get to check off two things on my list of Things I Always Wanted To See, Abraham Lincoln’s birthplace, and Niagara Falls!!! Both really cool.
7.2.09
We leave for Canada today!!! I am so excited I can hardly wait!!!
I know that I am going to learn so much that I will probably forget half of what I learn !!! lol.
I tell you what a good mood I'm in, even the prospect of driving a thousand miles dose not discourage me!!!
A big THANK YOU to all who have helped us to get this far! esp. Mom and Dad!
6.29.09
just a few short days before we leave for Canada!!!! I am so excited, it is going to be great!
Until then, I am supposed to be practicing violin and studying Chemisty.
Oh, and I will officially be a senior July 3!!!
6.15.09
Yesterday Mom decide that our school mascot is the Hummingbird. mostly because they are everywhere, and they look sweet but are really tough fighters when it comes to defending their sugar!
6.3.09
Ok, I am board with summer. If it was drier and a bit cooler (at least for a few more weeks) I would be so happy. I would much rather have a good dose of spring sunshine before the summer heat comes in but I guess that is what I get for living in Alabama.
6.2.09
I am so glad for this beautiful weather! Finally no rain today!!! The birds are singing and the flowers are blooming and everything is good!!!
6.1.09
Summer!!!!!
We have Hummingbird feeders on our porch, and those little birds sure like them! and they are supper fast. I had one fly real close to me and they can be quite startling too!
2.13.08
FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH!!! hope you all are having a great day and are not that superstitious. I personally am looking for a BLACK CAT that used to hang out on the back porch but I have not seen her there recently so I am wondering if she has either found a new family or when back to the wild. See, unlike most people who go and adopt a cat, often, but not always, cats adopts us! Mostly because we typically have food out on the back porch for them.
2.3.09
Percasso's today! I am so excited! Y'all should come hear us!
1.23.09
Hannah was so happy when she realized what today’s date was (123) that she managed distract me form my Algebra, but she had her own schoolwork to do.
Tabitha is insistent on making lunch tomorrow, and constantly wants to know what we all would like. I would like to have salmon loaf (because it’s yummy and the fact that Tabitha has a different opinion of it). But I don’t think that is going to happen.
Naomi is our trying to get another dear. Wednesday the buck was late for his date, so she is hopping to meet him today.
And I am updating my blog while I get ready to take an ACT practice test.
1.19.09
When there is time to speak, Sing
When there is time to tell, Share
When there is time to walk, Fly
When there is time to live, Love.
1.18.09
I feel so Blessed to have such great oppertunities in life. To be able to play at places like Flying Monkey Arts is just so cool and so much fun! I had a blast last night!
I also love getting to play with such great people, like Leif, Ty and Jennifer! Not to mention my Sisters and Mom!
1.16.09
I just heard our psa on the radio and did you know that it is really hard to say 'an eclectic mix of Celtic and Classical music' clearly with out emphasizing to the hard C.
1.14.09
Have you been listening to NPR? I made a PSA (public service announcement) about us playing at Flying Monkey Arts!!! It was fun to get to go into a radio recording studio and make the recording for it! It was a little bit scary at first but then (like all things) once I realized that I everything was going to be all right -- it was.
1.13.09
Keep your eyes open!!! A Mohr4 CD is getting closer to being finished!
1.10.09
I am so excited to play at Flying Monkey Arts!!! I don't know if I can wait until next week! Except for the practicing part, that can wait.
1.6.09
Today is a "Chicken soup and brownie day" with all this rain we have had.
1.1.09
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Mom put new pics up, take a look a round - you never know what you are going to find :)
12.31.08
The Last Day of the Year!!! I am very excited because we are going to see Eileen Ivers tonight!!! She is one of my favorite fiddle players! One thing that I love about her is the energy she brings to the stage, I would love to be able to perform as well as she does. Oh, Eileen Ivers also has a Blue Electric Fiddle which is awsome!
12.25.08
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
12.24.08
Merry Christmas Eve!!!!
12.16.08
Wow, getting Christmas presents can be a pain. Not that I don't like giving gifts, but that having to find the perfect gift for everyone can be hard. The thing I have to remember is that my family will still love me even if I give some one a gift that does not turn out to be their all time favorite. ok. I'm done being philosophical for the day.
12.15.08
Nothing compares to playing orchestra concerts. I always have such a wonderful time, it is so much fun to be part of something so big that sounds so great. we had our Christmas concert yesterday, now we have christmas break until some time, like the first monday in January.
Time to kick back, have fun, and enjoy the hoildays. (mom would add study to that list)
12.7.08
Yah the seconded Sunday in advent! Christmas will soon be here!
But not too soon - I still have Christmas Music to practice.
11.28.08
Happy Thanksgiving!!! (don't forget to thank the musicians!)
11.14.08
I have started studying for the ACT/SAT. I have my work cut out for me if I want to get good scores.
the two biggest problems - Math and Grammar.
Please don't forget to sign our guest book :)
10-29-08
I have FINALY thought of something to put up here. You may think it is random, but that would be your problem. This is My Peanut butter cookie recipe.
1 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1cup white sugar
(mix together)
a splash of milk (a couple tablespoons)
1 and 1/2 cups peanut butter
(mix)
3 to 3 and 1/2 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking soda
Mix all together and make sure that is feels right. Roll dough into smallish ball and then use a fork dipped in white sugar to form a criss-cross patten. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until done (slightly golden brown)
We had a great time at the Coffee tree last friday. I'm not sure why I feel obligated to note that we played there... I should be saying see you this friday at Kayla's cottage
Holiday season has official begun. At least here. Today we had out first Christmas quartet rehearsal (we just played though the Christmas Kaleidoscope books)
ps. these are the best peanut butter cookies ever.
10-5-08
Yesterday we went up to Athens for the fiddle competition. It was pretty cool. I was just a spectator, but I am going to think about competing next year....
The music was mostly old time/bluegrass but that is not too much different for celtic, so I think that I can learn some.
But the competition I am most interested in right now is the Karate Tournament, which is next Saturday.
10-2-08
I finaly figured our the answer to the riddle on Hannah's Page (iiiiiiiivvvi...)!
But I'm not going to spoil it for you! I'm sure you can figure it out. It's not as hard as it looks!!!
9-26-08
We got two kittens!!! A friend of ours had a couple of cats who had had kittens, and when you have a couple of mother cats and some other cats and then new kittens it gets to be a lot of cats.
We now have a grand total of two kittens, three cats and one puppy. Our cats are not too excited about the kittens, I guess they do not think that they are cute.
9-12-08
commonly asked questions part 1.
Q: What is the difference between a violin and fiddle?
A: 1) One has stings and the other has strangs
2) a fiddle is fun to listen to,
3) the kind of music that is being played.
9/7/08
I always love to play at the Coffee Tree, it's fun and there has always been a good crowd when we have been there, and it is always more fun to play whan there is an audience!
8/16/08
Even I have started school again, I am looking forward to a great year and learning a lot. I am studying Chemisty (and a variety of other subjects), and I like it a lot. It's cool to learn what everything is made of and why it works the way it does. For instance, did you know that the air we breath is mostly nitrogen, even thought we breath the oxygen in it. If the air contained more oxygen than nitrogen, the chance of wild fires would go up tremendously because oxygen is so highly flammable. cool huh?
7/20/08
We got our BLACK BELTS!!!
7-13-08
Hi, we just got back from the beach Friday evening. It was so much fun. We left here Monday morning, so we had all week at the beach.
I tried to lay out but I just got a sunburn though my sunscreen (which was spf 36 so it’s not like it was just tanning lotion), but anyway, I switched to reading under the umbrella instead. My burn is not very bad and will most likely be gone in a couple of days.
Unlike our other vacations there is not much to report about what we did. I mean we just hung out and relaxed. Go to the pool, go to the beach, go back to the pool, eat ice cream, go to the beach, you get the picture. It rained some in the morning so we slept in. it was wonderful. The week went by so fast, I wish we could have spent two.
6-21-08
Our puppy has grown a lot since we got him, he is about the same size as the cats. Poppy, one of our Cats has not realized that he is getting bigger, and she is still chasing him around the yard!
I always thought that is was the dogs who chased the cats....
6-17-08
Tabitha has started a photo blog on her page. go check it out. she has promised to add more pictures soon!!!
6/14/08
I was on tv!!! we were playing at constitution village and a reporter and camera guy for WAAY 31 came and asked if they could aske me a few questions. it was pretty cool and they also took some video of us playing and put that on. the whole thing took less than a minute, but it was still cool.
6/9/08
Last week Hannah, Tabitha and I went to Tennessee Valley Music Festival (aka Orchestra Camp) Naomi does not really like Orchestra so she stayed home and worked on her fiddle Music.
I had so much fun! I was really excited that got to play first violin, I normally play second so it was cool to get to do something different, the only thing with playing first violin is that I am not very good at it because the parts go up so high!
One of the things that I don’t like about Orchestra camp is that it is so loooooooong. Music from 9 to 5 Monday though Friday with a concert on Saturday. But it is over now and I had a nice time sleeping in this morning.
Guess what- we all passed Black Belt testing!
But we will not get our belts until mid July
5-24-08
We played at Coffee Tree last night, it was cool. I had a really good time. I really like playing with everybody, but we need to play together more when we are not playing a gig.
5-9-08
Today Mom said that Naomi and I have to clean our room, which has gotten to be quite a mess since I never seam to clean it we have our work cut out for us (maybe it will not be that bad).
Yesterday was Tabitha's birthday(she is now 11) but she decided to hold out for a 'real' birthday party, because we still had violin lessons and karate.
5-2-08
Long time no write- sorry, but I can make up a good excuse if you want me to. or just write a lot.
first, what I thought were zina's, were really weeds, oh well, now I have a garden full of weeds. it is proabably what I get for not paying any attention to to it.
for spring break, we went to Washington DC. it was sooooo much fun. (i'll have to see if I can find any pictures....). I really liked Old Town Alexandria, where we stayed. it had a bunch of nice resturaunts and stores, one store that was cool was the torpedo factory, it used to be a place were they made torpedos, but now it is an art gallery/store. some of the stuff was just amazing.
while we were there all the cherry blossoms were out so it was really beautiful. we got to look at all the big memorials and monuments. we got to go to the capitol building and look at the white house and to Arlington cemetery. as for the smithsonian we saw the Air and Space museum, the museum of the Native American or American Indian or whatever it is, and the national museum of art. My only complaints for the trip are that we did not get to see near enough of the smithsonian and we walked our feet to death!
the saturday after we got back we had a violin competiton AMTA (alabama music teachers' association), I got two execellents for my score, Exellent is second best score you can receive, so I think that I did pretty well.
the next Saturday we had Black Belt testing, so I did not do much besides that the week before either. Testing went pretty well I thought. but we still do not know how we did.
The week after that we were in 1814 all week, teaching the Virginia Reel to several thousand school children at Constitution Village. it was fun, but we played a ton of reels and shouted ourselves hoarse to teach the dance.
Friday night we played at Panoply!!! it was so much fun! and considering that we had not really had a chance to practice since we had been at Constitution Village all week, I think that we did really well.
This week I have had a glorious time of not doing a whole lot. But today I went and (finally) got my Driver's License!
Well I think that's everthing.
3/20/08
My Zinias are starting to come up!!! The cats didn't kill them and neither did the freeze! Now I just have to not kill them as I discover which ones are Zinias and which are weeds. There are a lot more weeds and the weeds grow a lot faster, so it is a project to save my zinias from being choked out by the weeds.
3/15/08
We had a lot of fun at the coffee tree last night. but I am tired today.
3-14-08
today is national pi (3.1415...) day, just thought that you might like to know. Hannah says that it should be obvious from the date, but that in 7 years it will be perfect (3/14/15).
we had black belt pretesting last night, and we learned everything that we were doing wrong. Now I have a bunch more stuff to work on!!!
3-10-08
We havd a karate tournament saturday and I got first place in weapons katas!!! It is the first first place I have ever gotten!!! I also got second in open hand katas and in sparring.
3-5-08
Oh my goodness how time flies, even when I'm not doing anything!
I have been mostly working on my school the past few days, except for the time that I spent working on my tournament Katas because we have a karate tournament on Saturday.
Today I get to stay home and study (and work on Katas).
The some of the flower that we planted in the front yard are up (I forgot their names) and they look really nice.
2-27-08
If I could go back in time, then, as long as it would be safe to come back, I would. I think that it would be so cool to meet some of the people who lived in another time. Some famous dead poeple I would like to meet are: William Shakespeare, Leonardo da Vinci, and Mark Twain. I would also like to meet just everyday, ordinary (if you can call anyone ordinary) people and see what life was really like instead of having to believe whatever history books say.
It snowed again last night, so much for global warming. But anyway, I got to drive home form Karate in the snow. Driving was not to bad as long as I remebered to keep my eyes on the road rather than the snow! lol. This morning a little bit had stuck to the ground but once the sun hit the snow, it began to melt. But it is flurrying again, so, who knows, we might be able to build another snowman!
2-15-08
I am writting this because Hannah keeps reading my blog and telling me how I need to update it more. So...
Last Saturday Tabitha and I planted some flowers. It was really nice outside and Tabitha was more entertaining than help, but it is alway nice to have company.
But the cat got into the flower bed and was digging all around in it so we put some wire fencing over it, and I don't think that she has been in there since. Then it got cold and dipped down below freezing so I really hope my flowers are ok.
We planted some Zina that I had saved the seeds for last year so if they don't grow it's not tragic, but I have saved the same Zina seeds for several years now and planted them and saved the seeds again, so it is kind of a tradition. enough about Zinas.
Yesterday we were rather busy so we did not get to have our choclate party (Valentine's Day Tradition) so Mom promised us that we could have it today!!! Some time after we get our school work done probably.
1/24/08
Today is just another school day, Algerbra, Violin, Chemistry, Rhetoric (writing, speech giving, and presenting ideas and stuff like that). We also have Violin Lessons this afternoon and then we are going to karate class. We are going to try to test for our Black Belts this spring (if we are ready!) which makes going to class really important.
Noami, Hannah and I have been working on Pachebell's Kanon, it is such a pretty piece, I have really enjoyed working on it.
Last night Mom had us pose for some publicity shots(to put on posters and such) it was fun. Tabitha had some interesting ideas and Mom let us have hot chocolate when we were done.
1/15/08
Today we are going to play at Percassos like we do almost every Tuseday.
We got some more Orchestra music last night, Rhapsody in Blue. It is so cool but it is extreamly hard. I hope that I can get it all learned.
It's rather chilly again today, but that's Alabama for you. One day you think that spring has decided to come early and then the next day it's below freezing when you wake up. If it's going to be cold I would like it to stay cold, so that we would have a decent chance of getting some snow!
But that won't happen now.
Sorry, but the Guest book is not working like I thought it would, but I'll see what I can do to get it fixed.
1/7/08
well here we are in 2008! now that it is finaly 2008 we just have to decide what to do with it. lol. school stared up today, after our rather long hoilday break. Orchestra also starts back tonight, which I'm looking forward to.
December 24, was my birthday, now I am 16 and so far it has been great!!! I have not gotten my license yet, but maybe before too long if I study!
12/13/07
We have collected some interesting things at our gigs, every thing from Earrings to Christmas tree ornaments to Leprechaun Gold. Yes you read that right, real Leprechaun Gold from a real Leprechaun who got it from his pot of gold at the end of his rainbow!!!
People sometimes ask if I get nervous while I'm on stage, the truth is that I get very nervous,(just ask my sister of mom!) but once you do it enough you get use to doing it, then you have to make it a little bit better next time. But when I'm out there playing it's really exciting and I don't want to be anywhere else. And then when we are done I'm so glad to be done, because I'm rather tired afterwards.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
11/8/07
Last Saturday we played our first wedding!!! It was so cool! But it is amazing how much work goes into it and how fast it is over. The wedding was up at the lodge on Monte Sano, it was so pretty there, my only complaint was, since it was outside, it was rather cold and it's hard to play violin with cold fingers!!!
We played up at Burritt on the Mountain for their Sorgum/Indian Festival several weeks ago. We were the first group that they had ever had to play at the barn!!! (we're not sure that was a good thing, lol, ed)
I have always enjoyed playing up there. We are going to play up there for their Chrismas Lantern Tour (November 30), which we played for last year, and it was a lot of fun so we decided to do it again.
On Halloween we played on the Church At Hampton Cove's Reformation concert. They had, I beleve, most of their youth praise bands. It was fun but I think when we were up, that people didn't know quite what to expect because we don't have any electric gutars or anything like that. This was outside as well and since it was a bit cold we played everything kinda fast, on the last song we played, I was praying that Hannah could play it as fast as Naomi and I were, she was standing between Naomi and I, and if she lost her fingering then it would have been a catastorphy. But I shouldn't have been worried becouse Hannah did wonderfully, as usual.
For the record I love fall - all the colors and the cooler weather - but I just need to get a pair of the goves with the fingers cut out!!!

9/30/07
Hi Y'all,
This morning i sang with the First United Methodist Church's youth choir.
it was fun. we have been rehearsing this one song for a while now and i am looking forward to getting new music.
Last night we played at a benifit to help get shoes for under priviledged kids at Morris shoe store, in Henagar.
The other groups that played there, played mostly Gospel music so some people liked our music because it sounded different than everybody elses.
i am really enjoying the nice weather we have had the past couple of days. i wish it was like this all the time!!!

This week has been very slow, boring and quiet. We only played today, yesterday, Tuesday, last Saturday and last Friday. Not much at all. lol.
I found out that I need to:
a. Practice more
b. Update my blog more often. (Which I will try to do!)
We have a karate tournament in a few weeks. I am excited. The first four places in the point rankings are up for grabs in mine and Naomi’s division. We don’t really like competing against each other, but there is no one else I would rather lose to!!!
Hi to all my amazing fans out there (or really Friends since I know most of you!)

Hey Y’all
Today we went to Percasso’s and played for the first time. We played for about an hour, and then came home. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures there because our tech guy (aka Dad) has a job and was at work today.
The orchestra that I play in has already started rehearsing this year, but because we have been out of town I have not made it to any yet. I am really excited to play this year. I did not place as high as I wanted to, but you win some when you shouldn’t and you lose some when you should have won.

Everything is starting back up with school, but i have not been any busier finishing up my summer activities (manly Karate) getting my new school stuff together. i think that about all that is new& interesting
